My Excel column headers are showing numbers instead of letters

You might be facing this problem due to formatting issues. You can get your excel sheet back to its default settings. Here’s how to go about it:

  • In your excel spreadsheet, go to Tools.
  • Click on Options from the list. In the Options window that opens up, click on the General tab.

  • Under the settings make sure that the R1C1 reference style box is unchecked.
  • Click on OK.

This should set your excel sheet back to its default style, displaying Letters in the Column tabs.
