My screen goes blank after few minutes.
This happens usually when your PC has gone into hibernation mode. Hibernation mode is a power management option used by the PC to enable operations to resume quickly when the PC is turned back on. The hibernate option saves an image of your desktop with all open files and documents, and then it powers down your computer. Check your power management settings if hibernation has been enabled. Here’s how:
- Right click on Desktop and go to Properties.
- Select the Screensaver tab and click on the Power button.
- Set the Power Scheme to always on and everything else to never.
- Click on the Hibernate tab and disable Hibernation.
- Click on Apply and then on OK.
This should fix the problem.
